Dirt's for Digging, Green's for Growing
June 6-8
Art Week
June 20-22
The week will be dedicated to learning all about gardening and planting flowers. The students will take an active role in planting flower and vegetable beds. What a better way to practice playing in the dirt than planting their very own flowers! By the end of the week, the kiddos will be digging to plant their very own flowers at home. During the week the class will also go on a nature walk to learn about the leaves, branches, trunks, and roots of trees. Children will bring home flowers to plant at the end of the week. The week will be primarily hands on activities and the kids are guaranteed to come home dirty at the end of every day. |
Learning about planting a garden early in the summer program allows kids to be involved in caring for and watching the plants grow.
Sensory fun with mud and water. Expect your child to come home dirty.

Animals are Loose
June 27-29
The best way to learn about animals is to experience them up close and personal. The animal week will be dedicated to learning about different animals. As well as learning how much fun animals are and the work that goes into having them and caring for them. The students will also learn about what animals eat and drink and the difference between wild animals and domestic animals.
Anything goes this week. Different types of art media will be used to create outdoor masterpieces. The students will become inspiring and great artists by using their creativity outdoors rather than indoors. The classes during the week will take place outside, as long as weather permits, learning how famous painters use different art media to make their masterpieces. This is the week that everyone will be allowed to paint on large easels, other media, including painting clothes.
Learning to use glue to make art.
Fun for all from both sides.
Blast for last...
